A microchip allows us to permanently identify your pet.

The procedure is quick and well tolerated by animals, as the microchip is implanted under the skin using a needle no more uncomfortable than a vaccine. It is also possible to implant a microchip while your animal is under for their spaying or neutering, allowing us to do the procedure without them noticing.

Any animal lost and brought to a shelter, SPCA or veterinary establishment will be “scanned” to verify the presence of a microchip, allowing us to find and reunite them with their owners quickly and safely.

If you were to decide to bring your companion on a trip, know that most countries require the animal to be microchipped, and the microchips we use are legible all around the world.
