Following the exam by your veterinarian, if they suspect any heart problem, they may recommend tests such as X-rays, Ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure, etc.
If your animal requires the exam and expertise of a cardiologist, they may be evaluated in our clinic directly, as we have access to a cardiology specialist who is in our region twice a month. The report is then transmitted to us so we can ensure a follow-up with you. We may also consult them as needed to adjust the treatment plan and reevaluations.
